Ana Leni Frei
Born in Lausanne, Switzerland, in 1995 I studied bioengineering at EPFL (Polytechnic School of Lausanne). I have always been attracted by Art and both my mathematic and biology background continuously inspire me for my creations. I am exploring new ideas, observing the nature and the science behind it. It is a need for me to draw and observe objects with a different look. I am searching how to make life more beautiful and colorful as well as understanding it from another point of view.
During more than 10 years, I took lessons of drawing and sculpture in an Art School in Lausanne.
Four years ago, in my academic program, I had the opportunity to attend a class of Graphic Design at ECAL (Art School of Lausanne). This made me discover digital techniques, a new universe to me, which I loved.
Moreover, as a student at EPFL, I had the opportunity to be part of the graphic team of two associations; the Festival Balelec and the travel association of the students in Bioengineering. These experiences taught me a lot about the work of a graphic designer.
